The Truro Loops

BY BIKE OR ON FOOT

The Truro Loops are a series of five accessible routes in and around the city of Truro, Cornwall.

The routes connect various public spaces and communities across Truro and aim for easy, car-free travel.  Explore Truro Loops by downloading our leaflet here

Newham trail

The connection from the city's southern side to Newham and the business district beyond takes the path of the old railway branch line. This is a popular route with runners and cyclists.

moresk forest loop

Truro's riverside forest walk is a 30-minute walk which takes you as far as Sunny Corner. The walk continues through the beautiful forest with sweeping views of Truro

truro city loop

A circular route taking in Cathedral views, architecture, and the Royal Cornwall Museum. Some of Truro’s best secrets are found when you look up at the buildings around you.

Boscawen park loop

Boscawen Park is Truro’s play, sports and activity hub. All activities are set in beautifully, maintained Parkland and gardens. The walk takes in the fantastic views of Truro.

Truro River Trail

This loop follows the western and eastern banks of the river from Newham, along Morlaix Avenue and back along Malpas Road to Boscawen Park.

A project in progress

The Truro Loops project has been working to bring the vision of a better connected Truro to life since 2016.

Along the way there have been robust discussions about route, means of travel, accessibility and community. The routes have been chosen to enable the whole of the city to be seen and enjoyed (but perhaps not in the same day!).

The six Truro Loops are of varying distance and location and a map will soon be available from the Visit Truro tourism office in Boscawen Street, Truro.
