Volunteer Day – 21st April on Lemon Quay
If you’re interested in volunteering for Truro Loops, why not come and have a chat at Truro’s Volunteer Day on 21st April? We’ll be on Lemon Quay between 11am and 3pm, with a host of other local organisations looking for help.
So why volunteer for us?
We’re flexible and there is no minimum time commitment, so we can fit around you.
You can volunteer from the comfort of your own home – or from our cosy little office in Boscawen Park.
We’re a small and friendly team, and we really need you to help Truro’s residents and visitors alike to enjoy walking and cycling in Truro.
At the moment we need people to help with our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, to chat to members of the public in our office, or to take minutes at our monthly meetings.
Our priority this year is to lobby for the Lighterage Quay Bridge to happen, as a key component of the Truro River Loop. The bridge would also allow a much more direct connection from Newham to Boscawen and Malpas, including for walkers and cyclists that use Newham Trail, for business users and visitors. If you would like to help us to gather support for the proposals and keep the community informed, we would like to hear from you.
If you aren’t able to come to Volunteer Day to find out more and chat with us, but would like to help us in future, then please email us on to express your interest.
